The Absolute Unit coaster – yellow
On the 9th April 2018, a tweet was posted that changed the world forever. Well, maybe not the world, but certainly the life of our small museum in Reading, Berkshire.
This photograph of an Exmoor horn ram — reared by the farmer G.F. Thorne of Simonsbath, Somerset, stole hearts and minds across the globe when it was tweeted with the caption of ‘look at this absolute unit’.
Two years and tens of thousands of tweets later, this iconic sheep is featured on a range of different products for you to enjoy.
Orders for this mustard yellow cork-backed coaster help support The Museum of English Rural Life.
