Whether you are starting your Moorcroft collection or adding to an existing one, this decorative vase makes a stunning addition to any living space. The designer of this piece, Nicola Slaney, has previously created sell-out limited-edition ranges for Moorcroft, and has a great love of the Arts and Crafts movement which is visible in this William Morris-inspired design.

Inspired by a furnishing fabric called ‘Honeysuckle’, the tones have been adapted to allow summer fruit hues of peach and lime, as well as azure blue to seep into the foliage. Japanese honeysuckle, dressed in tones of pink blossom which can be found from summer through to autumn, circles another cottage garden climber with large petals streaked blackcurrant-purple which provides another vibrant colour explosion.

Designer Nicola Slaney achieved a high profile when Moorcroft witnessed a sell-out in six weeks of her millennium 50-piece limited edition, Jerusalem, each at a retail price of more than £11,000. Nicky, as she prefers to be known, is a versatile designer and her creations range from affordable range pieces to highly priced, rare collectable limited editions. Anna Lily, one of Moorcroft’s best-selling ranges was first designed by Nicky in 1998, and is still in production today, lovingly freshened-up with new shapes each year. Nicky favours creating fruit, floral, landscape and designs, though she has a great love of the Arts and Crafts movement and its unique design style that emerged over a century ago.

Innovative and gifted, Nicky reputation continues to grow by the year.
