This cotton tea towel is decorated with detail from one a series of seven striking textile artworks by ‘the lost modernist’ Michael O’Connell. The artwork is one of seven 3.8-metre-high wall-hangings were originally created for a huge display called the ‘Diversity of British Farming' at the 1951 Festival of Britain Exhibition. Each wall-hanging showcased a different English agricultural region, highlighting the traditions and trades that made each one unique. Dry your dishes or simply decorate your kitchen with this quirky tea towel. Orders for this product support the Museum for English Life.
