Samuel Bough ‘Cricket Match’ notebook

This A5 notebook features Cricket Match at Edenside, Carlisle by Carlisle-born artist Samuel Bough (1822–1878). The work is a visitor favourite at Tullie House Museum and Art Gallery. It beautifully captures the ground of the Carlisle Cricket Club, and the joy of watching a game of cricket on a bright but cloudy day.
