This catalogue contains over 2,000 full colour images within 312 pages. The dimensions are 29.5 x 23.5 cm and the catalogues typically weigh between 1.8 - 2.8 kg.

This catalogue presents the wealth and variety of publicly owned oil paintings in Perth, Kinross and Angus in north east Scotland. Some 2,000 paintings from 13 collections are reproduced here. Three quarters are held by the region’s two local authorities and displayed in museums, galleries and civic buildings. Others are housed in hospitals, a college, a leading scientific research institute and independent museums. These celebrate Scotland’s oldest Highland Regiment, its first free public lending library, Britain’s first operational Military airfield and the people who have made their home in this beautiful and distinctive part of the world.
