Warrington Museum & Art Gallery holds approximately 300 oil paintings, featuring works by nationally important artists such as Luke Fildes (1843–1927) and Henry Woods (1846–1921) who studied at Warrington School of Art and became leading figures of the Neo-Venetian school. The collection also includes internationally renowned artists such as Jan Van Os (1744–1808) and Sir Frank Brangwyn (1867–1956).
