The William Evans Bequest Collection at Bangor University consists of twelve paintings and were collected by Charles Evans CB (1883–1961) in 1938 in honour of his father, William Evans CB (1841–1919). Charles enjoyed collecting pictures and knew a lot about the London art market. So he decided to purchase twelve paintings to loan and then donate to the university, for the enjoyment of the students and the staff.
The collection includes works by Paul Nash, Edward Alexander Wadsworth and Winifred Nicholson. Prints from this collection are now available to purchase in a variety of sizes and framing options, allowing you to create a bespoke piece of wall art for your home.
